Job Description

Coverage Period: Jun 26, 2023 - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinical + Call

Shifts Coverage: Acute Psychiatric Unit

Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p

Call Schedule: TBD; possible weekend

Call Type: Beeper

Patient Volume: 8-10

Admissions: 1

Rounding included: Yes

Ratio of follow ups to new evaluations: 1:1

Physician in Practice: 10

Support Staff: RNs, MHPs, PhD court evaluators & LICSWs

Required to supervise other healthcare providers: Yes; CAP Fellows and Senior Psych Residents

Procedures/Skills:

- Anxiety disorders, Affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality disorders, Development disorders, Psychotic disorders, & Organic disorders

- Familiarity With: Involuntary Commitments, Seclusion therapy, Restraint application

- Treatment: Pharmacotherapy

Beds in the Dept: 15; 2 (Seclusion room)

Lab Onsite

EMR: Epic

Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active WA License or IMLC

BC/BE (If BE, within 1 year of residency)

BLS
