Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

VACANCY: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (FixedTerm)

REPORTING TO: Chief Engineer/Accountable Manager

LOCATION: Heidelberg

Starlite Aviation Group has a requirement for a responsible knowledgeable and attentive individual to fill this position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (FixedTerm) effective immediately. The role will be stationed in Heidelberg South Africa.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance of Aircraft:
  • Serviceable Aircraft Delivered
  • Ensure all work is carried out according to OEM Documentation.
  • Carry out fault finding and defect rectification.
  • Ensure the correct spares are ordered.
  • Maintain Good Tool control.
  • Comply with SACAA or other relevant Authorities Regulations.
  • Maintain a highQuality Standard.
  • Adhere to Standard Times for Maintenance Task.
• Experience in defect diagnostics and rectifications.
• Experience in embodiment of modifications satisfying ASBs CSNs SSIs and ADs.
• Prepare and assist with Internal and External Audits.
• Conformance to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).

• Good Communications skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

• Type Rated (R22 R44 R66) valid SACAA or
• More than 5 years experience on R22 R44 R66 (if not licensed)
• Robinson rebuild experience (advantageous)
• Approved Person with Sling Aircraft experience (advantageous)
• More than 5 years experience on Sling Aircraft (if not Approved Person) (advantageous)
