• Technician Mechanical:• Directs subordinates and participates in carrying out complete overhauls of pumps, compressors (air), compressors (gas), generators and associated pipe work and equipment.• Tabulates critical measurements and tolerances during the overhaul of plants and equipment. This includes completing of proforma with such data and submitting draft to supervisor for approval before proceeding with maintenance overhauls.• Using manufacturer s parts lists, instruction manuals and drawings, assesses requirements or spare parts and obtain them from stores using standard procedures.• Cleans and maintains in good order special tools and equipment.• Installs new refurbished units as required e.g. after a major workshop rebuild including air compressors, vertical and horizontal, submersible, and surface pumps, fin fans and other associated equipment.• Carries out other similar or related duties such as trouble shooting on maintenance faults, keeping work area tidy, giving on-the-job training to less experienced technicians.• Carry out maintenance works of mechanical seals, valve replacement, heat exchangers, gas heaters, pumps, compressors, vessels and SRVs. • Technician Electrical: • Participates in preventive maintenance, the repair and overhaul of a variety of electrical plant including generators, HT & LT switchgears, motors, and motor control centers AC & DC(hazardous service classified) motors, transformers, variable speed drives, UPS systems,batteries and chargers, lighting circuits, PLC controlled circuits, heat treatment control circuits,and all associated equipment throughout all oil and gas stations.• Carries out switching up to and including 415 V following approved authorization.• When required, install new equipment such as motors, starters and motors drive for pumps, fin fans and compressors and all lighting units (hazardous service classified).• Carries out other related duties such as providing on-the-job training for trainee technicians.• With the aid of testing equipment, manufactures manuals and drawing, Tests and confirms calibrations of a variety of electrical equipment.• When required, assists in the installation of the new equipment such as switchgear, generators, PLC controlled circuits, variable speed drive systems and heat treatment control circuits.• Reviews proposed work and informed supervisor of materials requirements.• Carries out other similar or related duties such as recording details of work performed and operating data.• Carries out load transfer from the mains to standby generator via synchronizing equipment.• Assist in earring out breakdown repair, inspection, and maintenance on 11 kV, 6.6kV, 3.3 KV & 415 V motor starters.• Responsible for the training of National trainees and develop.• Technician Instrument: • Carry out effective maintenance of field instruments including routine inspection, testing calibration, repair maintenance & commissioning.• Carry out breakdown repair, maintenance and calibration of electronic and pneumatic instruments in site or in workshop.• Carry out preventive Maintenance Jobs as advised by planning and input work data in CMMS. Helps Senior Tech to Collect & Maintain Necessary documents related to corrective, Preventive Maintenance. Involves in making the work permit and carrying out the required work as per the work order.• Witness function tests, loop checks and verifies data sheets, reports and documents as instructed by Senior technician/Instrument Engineer.• For instruments that cannot be repaired on site, assist in arranging to transport to central instrument workshop. This includes testing and calibration as well as isolating, removing, dismantling, inspecting, calibrating, repairing, installing, and commissioning of all the instruments mentioned.• Carry out effective maintenance by doing routine inspection, calibration, repair and maintenance of Gas chromatograph, Continuous emission monitoring systems, Oxygen, Ph, Conductivity, Oil in water, H2S, Moisture, Flue gas analyzers.• Carry out effective maintenance by doing routine inspection, calibration, repair and maintenance of Wellhead Instruments, RTU s and its related equipment.• Carry out Daily activities in SAP MM/PM Modules as instructed by senior technicians.• Carry out jobs as per QMS procedures & Its Documentation.• On instructions from Senior Tech/Instrument Engineer, provide assistance to Project jobs and its Pre-commissioning / commissioning activities along with the sub-contractors.• Ensure all works are implemented / completed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner and according to planned schedules.• Carry out jobs as per ISO I QMS procedures & maintain Documentation. • Technician Mechanical:• Completion of secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years formal full-time educationor Diploma Certification.• 5 Years experience in the maintenance of compressors, pumps and associated equipment.• Qatar Driving License - Light Vehicles Driving License Mandatory. • Technician Electrical:• Completion of secondary (12 years) education, followed by 3 years full time training or DiplomaElectrical Engineering.• Should have a good knowledge of safety practices relating to the Oil & Gas I Petrochemicalindustry.• 6 years experience in electrical mainframes and repair work in Oil and Gas industry. • Should have ability to study electrical schematic drawings both control and power.• Qatar Driving License - Light Vehicles Driving License Mandator. • Technician Instrument:• Completion of full-time secondary education (12 years) followed 3 years diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or a minimum of three years full time training in instrument maintenance, electronic and microprocessor equipment to Ordinary National Certificate level.• Should have a good knowledge of safety practices relating to the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.• 3 years experience in the maintenance and repair of wide range of instrumentation, electronic, pneumatic, gas turbine and gas compression control and protection systems, logic, microprocessor-based control equipment.• Qatar Driving License - Light Vehicles Driving License Mandatory
