Job Description
- Design and implementation of individualized ABA-based intervention programs for children with behavioral challenges and/or those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or other Developmental Disabilities.
- Provide on-going monitoring and evaluation of ABA-based intervention programs.
- Provide training to Behavioural Interventionists, parents and/or other related parties.
- Provide on-going training, monitoring and evaluation of Behavioural Interventionist.
- Conduct assessment activities related to the need for behavioral interventions.
- Design and present training workshops.
- Research the literature related to ABA-based interventions.
- Participate in clinical team meetings with Clinical Director/ Clinical Supervisor and other colleagues.
- Design data collection protocols and interpret data to make data-based decisions relative to each child’s program.
- Collaborate with Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals with regards to individual child’s program.
- Perform functional assessments and design Positive Behaviour Support plans for families, schools and/or community programs under the direction of Clinical Director/ Clinical Supervisor.
- Provide implementation support for behaviour support plans.
- Prepare supports and materials.
- Provide collaborative support in transitioning children from home-based to school-based programs.
- Meet with the Clinical Director to review client cases.
- Collect and prepare notes for clinical review meetings and/or supervision meetings.
- Meet clinical competencies.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards as outlined by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
