Data Analyst Power Bi and Sql Developer

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis:

Collect clean and analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights.

Perform statistical analysis and derive actionable insights to support business decisions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver analytical solutions.

• Power BI Development:

Design and develop Power BI reports dashboards and visualizations.

Implement and maintain data models measures and calculated columns in Power BI.

Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.

• SQL Development:

Write optimize and maintain complex SQL queries stored procedures and functions.

Design and develop database schemas tables and views to support reporting and analysis needs.

Ensure data integrity consistency and accuracy across all databases and reports.

• Data Integration and ETL:

Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses.

Perform data migration transformation and loading using SQL and other ETL tools.

Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes to ensure timely and accurate data availability.

• Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present data reports visualizations and dashboards to stakeholders.

Document data models ETL processes and reporting procedures for reference and compliance.

Provide training and support to endusers on how to use Power BI reports and dashboards.

Requirements

Education Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

Experience:

3 years of experience as a Data Analyst BI Developer or SQL Developer.

Proven experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and scripts.

Technical Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Power BI including DAX and Power Query.

Proficiency in SQL including experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL).

Proficient with Power BI & SQL. Row level Security Page level Security Stored ProceduresSql Query power query editordatabase.

Strong scripting skills in Java Python & SQL.

Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g. SSIS Informatica).

Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other BI tools (e.g. Tableau Qlik).

Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.

Understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure AWS Google Cloud).

Certification in Power BI or SQL development.
