Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 / hour

What youll be doing as a Screw Press Operator:

• Read blueprints or job orders for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be machined, and tooling instructions
  
• Position and secure specified collets, bushings, and stock pushers onto the stock feeding mechanism and load bar stock into the feeding mechanism.
  
• Install and adjust specified cams, gears, and stops to control stock and tool movements at
  
• each station.
  
• Position and secure tools in tool holders.
  
• Set cutting speed and feed rates.
  
• Start the machine, observe the operation, and inspect the first run and sample workpiece to ensure
  
• machining conforms to specifications.
  
• Replaces worn tools.
  
• Operate bench grinder to sharpen tools.
  
• Carry out work according to safety policies, OSHA standards, and ISO requirements.
  

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night) and Weekends

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  
• One to Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Able to Lift 50 Lbs
  
• Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, convert to decimals, read measuring
  
• instruments.
  
• Must be able to work in seasonal hot and cold conditions.
  
• Must be able to work rotating days
  
• from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am.
  
• Required work on weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
  
• Background check and drug screen required
