Are you passionate about helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life Our client a leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their Acute Rehab Unit.

  • Salary is based on years of experience.
  • Candidates with 0 to 30 years of experience will be considered.


Flexible Work Schedules:

  • Acute Rehab Unit Only:
  • Option 1: TuesdaySaturday (five 8hour shifts)
  • Option 2: WednesdaySaturday (four 10hour shifts)
  • Acute Rehab Unit & Inpatient Units:
  • Option 1: TuesdaySaturday (five 8hour shifts)
  • Option 2: WednesdaySaturday (four 10hour shifts)
  • Hours will be split 50/50 between the Acute Rehab Unit and Inpatient Units
  • Special Department Schedules:
  • Evening Shift: 3pm 11:30pm (75% pay)
  • Night Shift: 11pm 7:30am (100% pay)
  • Weekend Differential: Additional pay for weekend shifts


Position Overview: Under the general direction of and upon physician referral the Occupational Therapist will:

  • Assess the functional needs of physically disabled patients.
  • Develop treatment goals and implement appropriate treatment plans using a variety of occupational therapy procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of selfcare function including medical history cognitive function sensoryperceptualmotor function and activities of daily living.
  • Goal Setting: Identify patient needs and establish realistic measurable treatment goals.
  • Treatment Implementation: Develop and implement dynamic treatment programs that respond to patient progress and ensure consistency and continuity in care.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program with a minimum of a bachelors degree.
  • Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho (candidates may apply before graduating or receiving licensure).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Previous acute care experience preferred.
