Our client is looking for dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team in a new Behavioral Health Unit. About the Role: Our client opening a new Behavioral Health Unit is seeking RNs to provide direct and individualized care to patients. This role involves performing plan of care interventions medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments and documenting patient care. The RN will also monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team assist with daily living activities and provide patient and family education.

Position Summary: As an RN in the Behavioral Health Unit you will play a crucial role in ensuring the wellbeing of patients by delivering highquality care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include administering medications collecting specimens performing clinical treatments and assisting patients with daily activities. You will also be an advocate for patients physical and emotional wellbeing providing essential education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan of Care Intervention: Administer medications collect specimens and perform clinical treatments.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient care and communicate patient conditions to the care team.
  • Daily Living Assistance: Assist patients with personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
  • Collaboration: Work with various disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers discharge referrals and support needs.
  • Patient/Family Education: Evaluate and provide education tailored to the patients and familys needs.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients.

MustHaves:

  1. Licensing: Valid RN license.
  2. Education: Associate degree in nursing or higher.
  3. Certification: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

NiceToHaves:

  1. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year working in a similar setting is preferred.
