Title: Power BI Developer

Location: Texas (Permanent remote)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our software conversion project. This role involves creating a robust enterprise dataset and developing comprehensive reports and dashboards to support business decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI and a solid understanding of data modelling visualization and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
• Create an enterprise dataset from multiple data sources ensuring data integrity accuracy and security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to endusers on Power BI functionalities.
• Ensure best practices are followed for data visualization and reporting.
• Document processes configurations and best practices for future reference.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI including Power Query DAX and Power BI Service.
• Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with cloudbased data solutions (e.g. Azure) is a plus. Experience with other BI tools (e.g. Tableau Qlik) is advantageous but not required.
