Job Description: Truck Driver HR
Location: Bilaspur Haryana
Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Truck Driver HR to join our team at warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management within the transportation and logistics industry. This role requires expertise in background verification (BGV) onboarding payroll processing and knowledge of training and development practices relevant to truck drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Background Verification (BGV):
- Conduct thorough background checks for potential truck drivers according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all BGV processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Onboarding:
- Manage the onboarding process for new truck drivers including orientation sessions and necessary paperwork.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
- Payroll Administration:
- Oversee payroll activities for truck drivers ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Address any payrollrelated inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs specific to the needs of truck drivers such as safety training compliance training and professional development.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Compliance Management:
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance in all HRrelated activities.
- Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to address compliance issues as they arise.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for truck drivers regarding HRrelated inquiries and concerns.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement among truck drivers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles within the transportation and logistics industry with specific knowledge of truck driver HR practices.
- Strong understanding of background verification processes and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and experience handling payroll for hourly employees.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs tailored to truck drivers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to HR issues.
- Knowledge of relevant federal state and local laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS and other HRrelated software applications.
