Job Description
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust. This position is Remote.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and Health Check: Oversee OCI resources health set up automated checks and respond to incidents swiftly.
Performance Metrics: Analyze performance metrics and set up alerts to maintain optimal resource performance.
Updates and Maintenance: Apply updates patches and manage maintenance windows to minimize downtime.
Resource Utilization: Monitor and scale resources based on demand patterns.
Optimization: Tune resource configurations implement load balancing autoscaling policies and optimize network setups.
Database Management: Optimize database performance using tools like Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Data Guard.
Access Management: Manage user access with OCI IAM and enforce the principle of least privilege.
Security and Compliance: Enable audit logs conduct security audits and use OCI Cloud Guard to address threats.
Data Encryption: Ensure data encryption at rest and in transit using OCI Vault and manage encryption keys.
Cloud Infrastructure: Manage compute storage networking and databases.
Automation: Automate operations with Terraform Ansible and OCI Resource Manager.
Collaboration: Work with architects to design scalable resilient cloud solutions.
Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly.
Cost Optimization: Monitor usage and implement costsaving strategies.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on OCI updates features and best practices.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Automation Tools: Proficiency in Terraform Ansible and OCI Resource Manager.
OCI Services: Strong knowledge of OCI services.
Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. OCI Monitoring Prometheus).
Cloud Security: Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g. OCI IAM Cloud Guard).
DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Skills: Excellent problemsolving communication and collaboration skills.
Certifications: OCI certifications are a plus.
