Job Description

CARSYNC offers a 360 Mobility ECO system that digitizes and automates all workflows in business mobility. With futureoriented technologies we enable efficient management of business mobility as well as the transformation of fleets into the next generation of business mobility: intermodal emissionfree connected and shared.

Over 25000 company and pool vehicles and 125000 users already rely on our SaaS solution. More than 100 tech and mobility enthusiasts in Munich Alzenau and Berlin are reshaping business mobility.

As a Test Automation Engineer you will be part of a dynamic and international team in a familiar agile environment and will be responsible for the development and operation of modules of our Fleet Tec platform together with your colleagues.

Tasks

  • Collaborate closely with Developers PMs and fellow QA team members to understand requirements.
  • Take full ownership in planning and executing manual tests reporting defects and track issues to resolution.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not addressed by test cases.
  • Analyze test results troubleshoot issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects in a timely manner leveraging both manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and work proactively to automate repetitive manual testing tasks while ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Managing version control systems such as GitLab and implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools
  • Providing reports on test results and recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Working with multiple teams and prioritizing the tasks.
  • Following agile methods STLC and SDLC throughout the development process.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in computer science or a comparable education.
  • 3 years of experience in software testing with an equal emphasis on manual & automation methods of testing
  • Experience with manual testing methodologies/types including test case design test execution and defect management with the ability to switch between manual and automated testing approaches as needed.
  • Experience with Automation tools like Cypress or Selenium (Cypress is a plus).
  • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language like JavaScript TypeScript or Java (JavaScript is a plus).
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as GitLab.
  • ISTQB certification will be an added advantage.
  • Communication skills and team spirit.
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
