Job Summary

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join the team and help realize projects integrating the latest technologies. This person will act as a technology expert to provide advice to client accounts. He/she will look for business problems and opportunities and recommend solutions that will allow the client to achieve their objectives.

This person will be responsible for helping our clients understand their needs and identify the best technological solution.

Interpret and communicate the client's needs with the technical team to develop innovative solutions. Finally he/she will be required to coordinate the evolution of the technological solution to ensure that the project deliverables are respected and meet the client's needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The applicant will take on a leadership role on strategic and complex files that require extensive and indepth expertise in his/her field of expertise.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for managing projects and developing activities specific to his/her field of expertise.

Participate in the sales process and assist with Requests for Proposals

Support sales projects by leading technical discussions in meetings with clients.

Translate customer needs into meaningful resultsoriented commitments and create proposals.

Participate in preliminary estimates and project plans.

Advise and support clients in positioning planning development execution and following up on the various strategic mandates under their responsibility.

Build a trusting relationship with managed accounts to influence technology decisions.

Identify issues and make recommendations to the appropriate parties.

Anticipate trends and changes in his/her field of expertise and make appropriate recommendations to develop best practices for the company.

Act as a team coach on software development best practices continuous improvement and the Azure approach.

Education and Experience

College diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science
10 years of progressive technology experience

Indepth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform

Experience in migrating application solutions to the cloud (Microsoft Azure)

Experience in design and integration of continuous integration/delivery pipeline

Strong experience in Agile methodology.

Ability to communicate with customers on a business level and transform their needs into a technical solution.
