We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist with relevant exposure to Accounts Payable. You will be processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations.

About our client
You will be working with our client that contracts span major compliance responsibilities such as fire, electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical services through pest control, garden maintenance, cleaning, and waste management.
What are the daily tasks?
- Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers
- Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger
- Collecting and digitizing data such as invoices, canceled bills, client information, and financial statements
- Maintaining a detailed and organized storage system to ensure data entries are complete and accurate
- Keeping a record of hard copy data such as invoices, inventory checklists, and other financial documents
- Establishing data entry standards by continually updating filing systems to improve data quality
- Addressing data inconsistencies by working with administrative staff to locate missing data
- Attending to data queries and reporting any major data errors to management
- Adhering to best data management practices and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency
- Data entry, copying data from invoices, and typing into a system while ensuring data integrity

Requirements
- Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as NetSuite and Zoho Books
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles and accounting standards
- Extensive experience in account reconciliation
- Keen attention to detail
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Graduate of Accounting degree or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience working as a data entry specialist in an Account Payable environment
- Excellent knowledge of data entry software, such as Ninox, Kintone, and OmPrompt Order Management
- Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff members.
- Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
