Technical Lead Expert GIS 12 months Brussels
As a Technical Lead Expert specializing in GIS you ll be at the forefront of spatial data management for transportation infrastructure and realtime operations.
Responsibilities:
GIS Implementation: Lead the implementation of GIS solutions for projects ensuring accurate geospatial data collection analysis and visualization.
Network Mapping: Collaborate with engineering teams to map networks track layouts and station locations.
Route Optimization: Apply geospatial techniques to optimize routes considering factors like terrain safety and efficiency.
Asset Management: Manage geospatial databases for assets including tracks signals bridges and tunnels.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders including operators contractors and third parties.
Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy adherence to standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Masters degree in Geoscience
At least 4 years of experience with ArcGIS Desktop ArcGIS API ArcGIS Server ESRI suite
Proven Geoserver Geodatabase development experience
Proven C# .NET experience
Certified ESRI Enteprise Geodatabase Management Professional
Strong project management and communication skills
Knowledge of infrastructure signaling systems and track alignment are a plus
Fluent in English (written and spoken) main language in the team
Fluent in Dutch OR French (written and spoken)
Min. 2days/week onsite in Brussels
