Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to perform duties for a School District in Passaic New Jersey. The Nurse will provide comprehensive health services promote health education and maintain a safe environment. They should be compassionate studentfocused and collaborate well with staff parents and healthcare providers.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree/ Diploma
Valid RN/LPN license from the New Jersey Board of Nursing
CPR/BLS Certification
Responsibilities:
Providing student care to students during the school day per doctor recommendation 504 IEP
Health plan or other guidance document.
Carrying out written orders of the medical home and standing orders of the school physician
Respond to emergencies and provide medical attention when needed.
Monitoring vital signs and general health status for students.
Administering medication in accordance with the student s written medical authorization.
Provide emergency care to the students who are injured or become ill at school on a school vehicle or during participation in a school activity.
Accompany students on the bus during field trips if needed.
Meet with the Administration as required to discuss projects and strategies to meet the needs of the student(s) and district.
Providing other nursing services consistent with the nurse s role with the district.
