Job Description

Job Title : Family Law Attorney
Location : Columbia SC & Greenville SC
Type : Full Time Directhire

At least 4 years of family law experience and SC Law License.

Our Client is a family and elder law firm with 15 locations in North and South Carolina. We are currently looking for a hardworking detailoriented Family Law Attorney to join our team in Greenville SC.
Responsibilities:
  • Help effectively solve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation understanding their needs and creating a strategic plan of action.
  • Draft pleadings motions contracts and marital settlement agreements handle the division of marital assets judgments and orders for a high volume of cases.
  • Attend court proceedings as needed to ensure effective representation of clients.
  • Collaborate with Managing Attorney to effectively move files through the civil litigation process.
  • Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps.
  • Engage in matter management to ensure timely progress in all cases.
  • Confirm all work is consistently qualityreviewed for case law and written content/clarity.
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of family law experience and SC Law License.
  • 4year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position.
