Main Duties:
- Monitor and assess the companys compliance with regulatory obligations
- Implement the compliance plan identify and investigate compliance risks
- Advise management and staff on emerging compliance trends
- Deliver training to staff
- Conduct regular compliance audits and preparation of compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies
- Liaise with external regulators and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings and maintaining detailed records of compliance activities
What skills do you need
- MQF Level 6 (Bachelors) academic qualification/s in Compliance Financial Services Regulations Law or relevant field of study to the role
- Adequate exposure and work experience in the Insurance Industry
- Have already undergone a successful PQ application and acceptance with the MFSA as a Compliance Officer would be considered an asset
- A good understanding of insurance legislation and regulatory requirements
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
