Desktop Engineer

Job Title: Desktop Engineer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Install configure and maintain desktop and laptop hardware and software.
• Provide technical support to endusers resolving hardware and software issues.
• Manage and support peripheral devices such as printers scanners and mobile devices.
• Perform system upgrades patches and regular maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and respond to support tickets in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations processes and procedures.
• Assist with network and server support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a desktop support or desktop engineering role.
• Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
• Experience in Active Directory Group Policy and network protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or similar is a plus.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
