Job Title: Desktop Engineer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain desktop and laptop hardware and software.
- Provide technical support to endusers resolving hardware and software issues.
- Manage and support peripheral devices such as printers scanners and mobile devices.
- Perform system upgrades patches and regular maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and respond to support tickets in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations processes and procedures.
- Assist with network and server support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a desktop support or desktop engineering role.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Experience in Active Directory Group Policy and network protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or similar is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
