Job Description

Responsibilities:

Demand/Change/Upgrade and Release Management:

  • Support the SAP Anaplan Product Owner in collecting and understanding new/revised Anaplan business requirements
  • Ensure Anaplan configurations are consistent with IFRS 17 requirements and Generali Group Methodology
  • Assess interdependencies and impacts within existing Anaplan configurations and the overall ecosystem of centralized solutions
  • Address requirements for automatic coherency checks to ensure the accuracy of Anaplan calculations
  • Prepare documentation for new Demand or Change requests under the supervision of the Anaplan Product Owner

Incidents and Problems Management:

  • Manage incidents reported by Business Units and Head Office Departments
  • Support the Product Owner in addressing problems or unplanned events causing service disruptions in central applications

Service Request Management:

  • Proactively manage and resolve Service Requests raised by Business Units and Head Office Departments

Reporting Closings Support:

  • Be an essential member of the closing process in all phases
  • Support the Product Owner in preparing explaining and clarifying instructions for the next reporting closing
  • Assist Business Units in the correct application of instructions and ensure timely execution of closing processes
  • Cooperate with Product Owners other Business Supports IT Colleagues and Generali Head Office Business Functions
  • Support followup actions or adjustments as needed after execution

Cross Tasks/Global Approach:

  • Cooperate with the Product Owner for setting up and maintaining relevant Anaplan documentation
  • Assist in training application users

Must Have:

  • Masters degree in Economics (or equivalent)
  • 13 years of experience as a Controller or similar role in Life and P&C Insurance.
  • Knowledge of IFRS principles especially IFRS 17
  • Excellent understanding of accounting and closing processes
  • Knowledge of Solvency II regulations focusing on Pillar I
  • Completed Anaplan Level III training
  • Experience using Anaplan
  • Highly motivated goaloriented and able to meet deadlines in challenging environments
  • Strong problemsolving and teamwork skills
  • Proactive able to simplify complexity and find pragmatic solutions
  • Ability to connect different subjects and think outside the box
  • Strong interpersonal communication and multicultural skills
  • Good negotiation skills with internal and external partners able to build trustful relationships in a multinational and clientcentric context
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English with an international mindset

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications: ACCA MBA CECCAR CAFR / ASPAS
  • Anaplan Solution Architect certification
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Previous experience using the ServiceNow platform
  • Former experience as an auditor in the Big 4 in the insurance sector
  • Previous experience in IFRS 17 implementation projects
  • Previous experience in SAP (FPSL PaPM FSCD BW FI) and Tagetik
  • Knowledge of the Italian language
