Middle DevOps Engineer and Help Desk Specialist

The PLAYSENSE team is looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer and Help Desk specialist all rolled into one. Team size 80 people. It will be necessary to work directly with the IT Director and end users.

PLAYSENSE is an independent creative agency and production studio working with clients such as Wargaming Ubisoft Riot Games and other representatives of the gaming and entertainment industry. With a team distributed throughout the world we provide innovative advertising solutions tailored to our clients needs.

Tasks

• Maintain the company infrastructure in AWS according to IaC
• Administer Linux servers and various DBMS
• User support (assistance in setting up the environment updating licenses and managing access rights)
• Writing pipelines and automation incident management

Requirements

• The ability and desire to continuously learn. Willing to teach and share an experience.
• Knowledge of English at a level sufficient to read and understand technical documentation without a dictionary sufficient to listen to technical reports with subtitles as well as to communicate with developers in bug trackers/help desks
• Linux server administration experience (Debian/Ubuntu CentOS)
• Ability to set and use systems of centralized log data collection based on the ELK/Graylog2 stacks
• Skills in setting up and using monitoring/alerting systems using Prometheus/AlertManager
• Skills in building pipelines in Jenkins/Gitlab CI
• Writing automation scripts (bash/python)
• General understanding of the principles of work as well as administration skills of various SQL / NoSQL DBMS (Redis Postgresql MongoDB Mysql RIAK Clickhouse)
• Understanding how networks and protocols work HTTPSTCPUDPDNSCDN
• Understanding what load average/io/cpu utilization/disk utilization/ htop/iotop/iftop
• Experience Diagnosing and selfsolving problems with the application virtual machines containers and servers
• Experience with Nginx

Will be a plus

• Understanding of the IaC and GitOps paradigms as well as experience in their implementation including tools such as: Terragrunt Ansible / similar systems Kubernetes and Helm and Python for implementing AWS cloud management scenarios
• Skills in building pipelines on Jenkins
• Experience in deploying distributed systems deployment practices/strategies bluegreen deployment canary deployment
• Experience deploying real projects in GCP or AWS/Azure
• Skills in setting up and using centralized logging systems based on ELK/EFK stacks
