Behavioral Health RN Job Details:

This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The contract is for an initial period of one year with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.

Job Description:

KDStaffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN to join our team as a Behavioral Health Unit Registered Nurse. In this role you will be responsible for providing highquality patientcentered care to individuals with mental health and behavioral disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and develop individualized treatment plans administer medications and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients mental health and behavioral needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team

Administer medications and monitor patients for potential side effects and adverse reactions

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options

Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of highquality care

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Nevada

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting

BLS certification

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills

Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
