Requirements
Overview:
Seeking a knowledgeable professional to administer the Ariba Buyer system with expertise in web application management configuration processes and cloud application management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced administration of the Ariba Buyer system.
- Manage and configure web applications effectively.
- Handle cloud application exposure and management.
- Assist end users with requisitions and purchase orders.
- Manage system data using Configuration eForms.
- Work proficiently with CSV files.
- Set up and manage Ariba Catalog Information (CIF).
- Demonstrate proficiency with the Ariba Network.
- Ensure strong followup on action items.
- Facilitate training sessions for end users and suppliers.
- Participate in project management activities such as regression and user acceptance testing.
- Perform operational buying activities focusing on cycle times and quality customer service.
Ariba Sourcing:
Offer functional expertise in sourcing projects including template creation event management and business awarding.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to set up supplier accounts and access.
Provide technical expertise through event review testing and functional recommendations.
Monitor system events throughout their life cycle (RFI RFP RFQ Auctions etc).
Conduct user and supplier training sessions.
Work with ITS/Ariba Expert Care as needed.
Ariba Contracts:
Provide functional expertise in contract management including template creation and maintenance contract workspaces and contract terms authoring.
Maintain repository templates for core procurement.
Create contract supplier accounts and manage access.
Oversee contract terms and lifecycle from creation to invoice posting.
Conduct training sessions for module users and suppliers.
Provide technical expertise through issue replication and functional recommendations.
Collaborate with ITS/Ariba Expert Care as necessary.
Ensure accuracy in contract reports.
SharePoint Management:
Possess strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Follow best practices for maintaining information security.
Develop creative customizations and uses for SharePoint.
Have a basic understanding of website layouts and HTML.
Translate technical jargon into layman s terms for explanations.
Oversee SharePoint maintenance activities.
Maintain records of SharePoint updates and activities.
Address questions from business owners or directors regarding software functions.
Teaming and Communication:
Liaise confidently with CoRe Procurement team members and Category Managers across member firms for procurement enablement.
Interpret data accurately and present results effectively.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint Excel Word) is essential.
Maintain a high level of organization and excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Fluency in English is required with additional languages such as German Dutch Spanish Chinese and French being highly desired.
Qualifications:
Experience providing systems and tools technical support to CoRe Procurement across multiple countries including US UK CA CN AU NL DE etc.
Proficiency in SharePoint functional management skills.
