Operations Manager Nottingham c. 70k 80k Car Bonus & Benefits

Were recruiting for an Operations Manager job in Nottingham on behalf of a multimillion design manufacturing and installation business specialising in bespoke signage visual identity and branding solutions. Responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Project Management and onsite Field Services teams providing leadership and improving processes efficiencies and productivity. Youll need experience in Production Management and/or Project Management in light manufacturing industrial engineering or a related field.

About the Sign Industry Operations Manager job

This sign industry Operations Manager is based at the Nottingham head office and factory.

Inshort youll be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Project Management and onsite Field Services teams providing leadership and improving processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Experience in Production Management and/or Project Management in light manufacturing industrial engineering or a related field is required.


Key responsibilities of this Operations Manager job

The key responsibilities of this Operations Manager job include the following core areas:


Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the project management and onsite Field Services teams
  • Develop & implement operational policies & procedures to improve efficiency & productivity
  • Monitor & manage project workflows to ensure timely completion


Team Leadership:
  • Lead mentor & support the project management & onsite Field Services teams
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations & provide ongoing training & development
  • Foster a collaborative & positive team environment


Project Management:
  • Supervise the Project Management team to ensure all projects are planned executed & delivered to clients satisfaction
  • Review project plans schedules & budgets
  • Ensure clear communication with clients regarding project status changes & any issues that arise


Field Services Oversight:
  • Working with the Field Services Manager to coordinate & oversee onsite Field Services ensuring quality standards & client specifications are met
  • Manage field service schedules & logistics to optimise efficiency & minimise disruptions
  • Resolve any onsite issues or challenges promptly & effectively


Quality Control:
  • Implement & maintain quality control processes ensuring high standards are met across all projects
  • Conduct regular inspections & audits of field services ensuring compliance with company standards & client requirements


Resource Management:
  • Manage resources including staff materials & equipment to maximise productivity & minimise costs


Health & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations within the workplace & on field service sites
  • Work with the HSE Manager conduct regular safety training & audits to promote a safe working environment


You

To be considered for this Operations Manager job youll need experience in Production Management and/or Project Management in light manufacturing industrial engineering or a related field. Youll also need:
