Hey there! Were Bright a fintech solar energy startup on a mission to reverse climate change starting in Mexico. We do so as a finance and technology layer powering the solar installer and entrepreneurial ecosystem working hard to simplify the process through automation.

About the position:

Join us as a Sales Ops to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Collaborate with our Sales team to play a critical role in achieving Brights goals by aligning their efforts with the companys priorities. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes driving efficiency and ensuring seamless collaboration between sales marketing and other departments. This position requires a resultsdriven individual with strong analytical skills excellent communication and a proven track record in sales operations management.

Tasks

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Analyze and enhance existing sales processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain sales analytics and reporting tools.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on sales performance data.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively address areas of improvement.
  • Sales Technology Management:
  • Oversee the implementation and utilization of sales tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure the integration and functionality of sales systems.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on the effective use of tools.
  • Forecasting and Planning:
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and targets.
  • Evaluate sales trends and market dynamics to inform strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align strategies with business objectives.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration:
  • Foster strong relationships with marketing finance and other relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving organizational goals.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to facilitate communication and cooperation.

Your Key Results will be:
At Bright we operate on the Objective Key Results system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) is:

  • Sales cycle length: the number of days or months to close a deal from the first interaction with the prospect to winning the deal.
  • Average lead response time: Lead response time refers to the time it takes to follow up with leads after they first contact you.
  • Closedwon rate: the percentage of closed deals which helps to gauge a sales reps overall performance.
  • Pipeline hygiene score measures the quality of your sales pipeline data: examples of healthy pipeline criteria are deal quality and size stage progression and win rate.
  • Forecast accuracy: as its name implies denotes how accurate your sales forecasts are.

Requirements

Were looking for someone who:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in sales operations or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. HubSpot PipeDrive Salesforce etc.) and other sales tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Has the following skills:
  • Advanced SQL (preferably PostgreSQL).
  • HTML and Javascript is a plus
  • Software/business intelligence tools and platforms.
  • Retool Metabase Tableau Power BI Github and/or Basecamp.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Such as a solutionoriented mindset conflict resolution time management and collaboration.
  • Desirable: English: B2
