Job Description

Logistics Manager:

Job Summary:

The Logistics Manager will own the logistics function in Saudi Arabia in accordance with the global enterprise policies guidelines local rules and regulations. The scope includes all business units operating in Saudi and all locations across the kingdom.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive implementation of Enterprise logistics initiatives such as shipping software Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) program Freight Bill Audits eSourcing etc. in Saudi.
  • Develop and maintain import and export SOP and KSA shipping profile considering all aspects of Saudi regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Logistics and Warehouse operations in the shared facility in SPARK; SOPs creation coordination with service providers and BUs personnel to streamline the processes and ensure smooth receiving and dispatching operations for business units.
  • Identify and implement tailored solutions for outstanding logistic challenges or business units requirements such as external warehousing MHE and dedicated vehicles rentals.
  • Mentor and train logistics personnel build educational materials work instructions and share best practices to ensure the highest levels of capability and efficiency within the team.
  • Plan andimplement initiatives for Improvement (cost Incoterms transit time reliability leverage etc.)
  • Responsible for all governmental websites registration such as Saber chamber of commerce Senaei Fasah and maintaining the masterdata of entities logins and user accounts.
  • Work closely with Emersons contracted/awarded service providers in Saudi to ensure agreed SLAs and are achieved to support business needs set up monthly and quarterly business reviews for performance and service levels optimization.
  • Act as main POC and escalation contact for Saudi Logistics internally and externally for carriers and 3PL service providers. Provide operational daily support to business units.
  • Facilitate global and regional RFQs implementation in Saudi with awarded providers onboarding and SOPs creation.
  • Identify implement and report progress of key Logistics initiatives such as duty exemption applications.
  • Responsible for ZATCA audits set up and implement documents archive and retrieval process with all business units.

Who you are

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding and exposure to trade compliance regulation and requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and without daytoday supervision.

For this Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Logistics Supply Chain or Business Management.

Preferred qualification set apart:

  • 6 years in logistics/supplychain management in a global matrix organization.
  • Previous experience with ERP and transportation management systems.
