Job Description

The KAN Group is a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovative complete water cooling and heating installations including wall underfloor heating and cooling systems KANtherm. KANtherm is an optimal complete installation multisystem which comprises the most modern complementing one another solutions in the scope of pipe water and cooling/ heating installations and also the technological ones. Tasks

  • actively seek new business opportunities for products offered by KAN Group in the German market
  • developing sales strategies monitoring and analyzing sales activities in the subordinate market
  • building partnership relations with customers distributors designers with particular focus on strategic partners of KAN Group
  • setting performance targets for the company in consultation with the Managing Director of this market from the Head Office
  • cooperating with the marketing department in building awareness of the KANtherm brand in the German market suggesting modifications/changes
  • monitoring and analyzing data from the German market on the performance of its own product in this market in relation to industry opportunities product segmentation customers and competitors
  • cooperating with the technical and commercial area of the KAN Group to increase the German companys revenues
  • overseeing the implementation of the German companys sales strategy objectives
  • communicating/reporting to KAN Group management on needs/priorities opportunities for improvement or threats in the area of the companys operations in the German market
  • building a positive image of KAN on the subordinate market

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the commercial characteristics of the German market (several years of work in Germany in a management position)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the HVAC industry knowledge of the technological capabilities of indoor installation systems used in the construction industry
  • knowledge of the DE design industry market an additional asset
  • Necessary requirement very good knowledge of the German language (in the case of a German citizen communicative knowledge of English)
  • higher technical education preferably in the field of heating and ventilation or other technical faculty
  • availability for business trips across Germany

Due to the dynamics of our sales activities in Germany we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with 5 years of experience in Germany and knowledge of the German market and the HVAC industry. The person hired for this position will be responsible for business development mostly related to investment services (trading company) in the German market.
