Job Description

Business Development Executive - MSP

Salary: 27,500 - 35,000 plus uncapped commission

Location: Plymouth, PL6 / Hybrid

The role:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role within the team, focusing on building and nurturing long-lasting relationships with clients Your primary goal will be to make a positive difference to their businesses by offering tailored IT solutions that meet their unique needs. Your enthusiasm for technology and dedication to providing exceptional service will embody the company ethos as a trusted IT provider in the South West.

As a Business Development Executive, you will utilise your B2B sales experience and proven history of meeting sales targets to sell a range of IT and telephony products and services. Product knowledge, training and support are provided. Career progression is available and highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Opportunities and Win New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Consultative Selling: Help solve businesses IT issues by providing tailored solutions through a consultative sales approach.
  • Account Growth: Grow your accounts by leveraging your contacts and sourcing leads, in addition to working with qualified leads provided occasionally.
  • Product and Service Sales: Sell a range of IT and telephony products and services to meet clients' needs.
  • Client Engagement: Attend frequent client meetings and networking events across the South West region to build and maintain relationships.
  • Be willing to work outside normal office hours when required to reach potential clients.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets within tech or MSP (Managed Service Provider) business-to-business sales.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel as needed
  • While specific IT knowledge will be taught, a strong passion for technology is essential.
