Reports To Group Finance Manager Location Doha-Qatar Company Our client is one of the prominent and diverse business groups in Qatar, With a lineage of over 50 years, hiring for their interiors, fit our arm. Role Description This position leads the Management by giving short to medium term strategic corporate direction. You will ensure proper implementation and improvement of operating strategies and key programs that should deliver the overall business unit’s results that exceed the set standards of excellence. Responsible for the overall financial management to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirement including credit line control and allocation of resources. Providing timely and accurate reports to support the company’s major decision and its overall strategic direction, business plan and company’s budget. which covers all but not limited to closing of book of accounts, Payroll, Financial and Budget Analysis Fixed Asset and Inventory entry of both local and imported purchases. To oversee the execution of the company’s strategies thru management of the advertising business operations. He is the appointed leader of the Business Unit and is responsible for developing the right organization that can ensure the success of the business. Responsibilities • Lead, assess and negotiate required credit facilities, arrange finance for real estate projects and managing cash flow and trade finance activities • Contribute to business setup by preparing business plans and project feasibility studies to assess and evaluate existing investment • Oversee financial operation planning, leading, organizing, controlling delegating, developing and accessing financial staff performance • Review the periodic reports, financial statements, and annual budgets • Periodic review of internal controls and compliance with company policies and procedures. Propose and implement new policies when required • Supervise general accounting transactions and authorization of daily payments • Perform timely and proper month end, year-end account closing and handling major audit concerns • Continuous operation review in coordination with other departments • Perform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements • Bachelor’s degree • With at least 7 years of experience in the related field gained in construction and real estate fields • Preferably CPA and has ACCA, CA Certification • Proficient in MS Excel • Working knowledge of ERP • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken • Time Management and Multitasking/ Prioritizing
