Field Material Controller

- Coordinate with the respective chief engineer for preparation of requisitions for material to be produced locally.
- Prepare or check arrangement for the disposal of surplus materials.
- Ensure the safety regulations are observed by subordinates. Ensure construction equipment and tools are in safe condition.
- Take necessary action to initiate Overage, shortage, damage and reject reports. Monitor filed changes reports for materials which are missing, lost damaged or changed.
- Participate in material scheduling meetings and recommended adjustments to work schedules, if necessary, to reflect the availability of critical materials.
- Prepare color coding of locally procured materials.
- Prepare storage plans for materials.
