Compensation: Base Pay ranges BTW N7.2 million N12 million per annum (depending on the quality of experience) Other interesting benefits.
Our client is an international market leader in the Consumer Goods industry.
Job Objective: The Company is seeking to hire a resourceful Talent Acquisition and Performance partner to collaborate with hiring managers to develop qualification criteria promote the company s brand build talent pipelines AND coordinate performance management activities in the company to ensure adherence to processes procedures and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
Actively promote the brand & build talent pipelines.
Screen & interview prospective candidates.
Extend and negotiate offers of employment with prospective hires.
Create and place job ads on multiple channels to reach top talent.
Source for screen and shortlist profiles for roles.
Manage internal recruitment system & process.
Serve as liaison between candidates and hiring managers.
Manage career page & ensure participation in job fairs/career fairs and target campus recruitment to meet the changing needs of the business.
Schedule and participate in recruitment planning sessions.
Ensure onboarding handshakes with HR Managers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria.
Ensure adherence to approvals on manpower requisition forms throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
Ensure all new hire work tools and means of identification are ready before resumption.
Liaise with registered hospitals for preemployment medical reports of new hires and process payment as well.
Maintain an uptodate database of jobs and prepare attraction & recruitment reports to aid management decisions.
Coordinate recruitment of interns (SIWES NYSC others).
Performance Management:
Oversee the development and implementation of the company s Performance Management system and provide advice and recommendations to management and staff.
Responsible for talent mapping to ensure that talent is properly aligned to meet current and future business needs.
Develops and conducts training and workshops to ensure that all performance management systems are accurately understood and exercised.
Creates the annual appraisal calendar manages communication with employees and ensures that each activity in the appraisal process is executed within the specified timeframe and as per defined guidelines.
Oversees the annual KPI (Key Performance Indicator) setting exercise MidYear Reviews and YearEnd Appraisals.
Provide support to line managers and employees in applying the Performance Management System where they face challenges with the implementation.
Ensures all employees have KPIs signed and agreed upon with their respective managers
Conducts regular performance appraisal exercises and workshops for middle to seniorlevel management.
Manages the PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) process and ensures agreed guidelines and processes are followed strictly.
Handles the performance management cycle process from start to end and monitors timely and accurate completion of the appraisals (e.g. forms and templates communications).
Contributes to the automation of the Performance Management System in collaboration with IT.
Resolves problems related to appraisals such as employee requests for reevaluation and ensures that these issues are handled in a fair professional transparent and equitable way.
Coordinates with Talent Management teams to gather and provide necessary input.
Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data. Get the consent of the data subject before collecting processing and using the data.
Education Experience & Other Requirements
BSc in Human Resources or any relevant field
Minimum of 5 years experience in Performance Management/Talent Acquisition with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
Relevant professional qualification is an added advantage
Knowledge Skills and Attributes
Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases
Experience in multiple sourcing areas such as the internet social media networking employee referrals job postings etc.
Good understanding of recruiting methods and best practices as well as applicable regulations
Outstanding communication skills written and verbal
