Job Description

Client Services and Onboarding Team Leader

Department: Financial Litigation
Location: Central London
Work Type: Fulltime onsite
Salary: up to £36000 (DOE)

A distinguished Legal 500 firm are on the lookout for a Client Services professional to join their ambitious and fastevolving team!

Their financial litigation department is currently running a range of claims for Business Energy Motor Finance Missold Pensions and Housing Disrepair with further plans of significant expansion.

The Role
  • To deliver excellence working collaboratively with the rest of the Financial Litigation team to ensure the smooth and timely assessment and progression of incoming packaged cases from their referrers.
  • To complete all administrative tasks from the receipt of the case to the completion of the litigation funding application
  • Provide the case to the Paralegal Teams so they can commence the next stages of the claim.
  • To develop a clear understanding of the case types criteria and process to produce the best quality output. Training will be provided

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing your team in the management of their third party packaged case Referrers: onboarding training developing and maintaining strong relationships collaborating reporting and providing feedback on the services they are providing.
  • Exceptional customer service during the signup & onboarding of new clients (claimants) to the law firm
  • Smooth communication and management of relationship for 3rd party providers involved in early stages of the claims including Expert Report Writers Counsel Insurance providers and Litigation Funders.
  • Maintaining the CRM system for all the prefunding cases – ensuring processes are followed and information is accurately recorded.
  • Driving your team to meet billing targets and signup targets amongst other KPIs as defined by your Line Manager.
  • Suggesting new strategies and ideas to boost the departments growth.
  • Management of your team: onboarding providing training setting targets deadlines and conducting regular 11s to ensure their individual wellbeing progress and work ethic is monitored.
  • Being available at any stage to support the Practice Manager and Lawyers to deliver any other tasks required and reporting upwards to Management in Their central office
  • Diligently maintain fair and accurate records of the work which you have undertaken under supervision in respect of all matters under your care and conduct on the CMS;
  • Regular maintenance of time recording records.
  • General administrative duties such as handling potential client queries from walk ins or calls correspondence and filing.


Requirements
  • Must have excellent attention to detail communication leadership and training skills
  • Ensure that your team members have a clear understanding of the culture and expectations of individuals within their workplace.
  • Be able to deliver all other tasks set by management such as carrying out various research assisting with projects and cases and reporting in a timely fashion to meet strict deadlines
  • Must be proficient at case management from an administrative perspective
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar legal environment and have had exposure/training in managing teams
  • Excellent customer service skills alongside sales and onboarding in a similar environment.
