Working Hours: 9am5pm EST or CST
Salary: $2000 $2500 USD/ month
Type of contract: Independent Contractor

Role overview

Our client is a leading real estate investment company specializing in selfstorage facilities and is seeking a professional organized and reliable person who is driven to help with the daytoday operations of a busy office environment. The successful candidate will support the accounting team by providing accounting analysis and financial statements for assigned property groups.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Post daily bank transactions for multiple accounts
• Analyze expense classifications
• Monthly Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Create and post month end journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Review and analyze month site performance
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problems solving
• Effectively communicate and manage 3rd party owner relationships

Requirements

• 3 years of accounting experience
• Advanced English Level (B2 or above)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
• ERP experience a plus
• Competence in data entry and accuracy with accounting software
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
