Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for chess and a strong background in product design. The Product Designer will be responsible for designing and developing a variety of chessrelated products including chess bags chess soft toys chess bottles chess umbrellas wooden chess sets and other chess paraphernalia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product development team to design and create innovative chessrelated products.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Develop design concepts and prototypes for new products.
- Create detailed sketches renderings and technical drawings.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for product designs.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality and feasibility.
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of prototypes.
- Revise and refine designs based on feedback and testing results.
- Ensure all designs align with the brand s aesthetic and quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Product Design Industrial Design or a related field.
- Proven experience in product design preferably with consumer goods or toys.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar.
- Knowledge of materials manufacturing processes and product development cycles.
- Excellent sketching rendering and 3D modeling skills.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for chess and understanding of chess culture is a plus.
