Job Title: Web Developer

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer with a strong foundation in JavaScript HTML and CSS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of handson experience in web development and be capable of working independently to design and implement web solutions tailored to internal use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test and deploy highquality web applications for internal use.
- Design and maintain interactive user interfaces using Core JS HTML and CSS.
- Enhance and modify existing demo websites to incorporate GenAI functionalities particularly for chat purposes.
- Optionally utilize Python for backend development where beneficial (can also be done in typescript)
- Integrate Norstella s data science APIs including AWS API Gateway and Lambda functions.
- Utilise WebSockets and REST APIs to ensure smooth and efficient communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solutions meet business needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7 years in web development with a strong focus on Core JS HTML and CSS.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Python is beneficial but not mandatory.
- APIs and AWS Handson experience with API integration particularly AWS API Gateway and Lambda functions.
- Web Communication: Experience with WebSockets and REST APIs.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to work independently troubleshoot issues and design solutions on the go.
- Adaptability: Comfortable modifying existing demo websites to suit new requirements particularly for GenAI applications.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with GenAI technologies and their application in web development.
- Strong understanding of web security best practices.
- Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver highquality results within deadlines.
