Our client is a highly reputable international Investment and Advisory Group in Africa.
Job Objective: This role will broadly manage the firm s relationship with its external stakeholders, the media, and the public in general. It drives the group s CSR strategy through managing the foundation as well as other impact initiatives undertaken on behalf of the firm. The function ensures that the firm can sustainably manage its brand by delivering on an adequate brand management and external communications strategy for the long term. It is responsible for developing and maintaining all internal and external communication (and brand) collateral, including the firm s websites, intranet, and social media handles. It is also responsible for delivering on external corporate events where required and works closely with key functions to ensure that the firm s interests and relevant industry relationships are adequately managed.
Key Responsibilities shall include but not limited to;
Facilitates and/ or prepares internal and external communications pieces including key messages, speeches, talking points, announcements, in collaboration with other functions and offices.
Coordinates media coverage by way of the firm s engagement in PR campaigns, press events and other strategic communications campaigns.
Manages an up-to-date archive of intellectual materials training, presentations etc., for ready access by staff over time.
Manages the firm s brand and communications collateral including websites, intranet and social media platforms in line with the overall communications strategy and plan articulated for their purpose.
Interfaces with relevant industry groups to ensure adequate coverage/ management of the firm s interests as and when relevant.
Manages the Foundation leading the delivery of its strategy as agreed with the foundation s board of directors.
Facilitates, subscribes to, and supports access to relevant business intelligence and content on emerging trends and issues of importance.
Supports the communication, and where relevant the delivery, of the overall sustainability, ESG and impact strategy of the firm.
Education & Experience
A bachelor s degree with a minimum of a Second Class upper, from a reputable tertiary institution.
Previous experience of 7+ years in a field or working on projects that bear relevance to the function and role outlined above.
While not compulsory, a master s degree in a field complimentary to the role advertised could be deemed an added advantage.

MS Office proficiency, as well as the use/ mastery of other relevant applications.
