Patient Care Tech PCT Medicine

Day Casual / On Call

As a PCT on Nelson 8 you will be a member of healthcare team working on an acute medical and telemetry unit with 23 inpatient beds focused on patients with respiratory cardiac and heart failure illness liver and renal disease substance abuse and mental status changes along with a variety of other diagnoses. Nelson 8 is committed to providing a comforting and encouraging environment to all who arrive onto this unit. We embrace diversity while providing holistic care for patients and each other with respect integrity and compassion.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.
