Sr Operations Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the chemical and petroleum industry with a proven track record of optimizing operations enhancing efficiency and ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to industry safety standards environmental regulations and company policies.
• Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception through completion ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operational issues working closely with maintenance and production teams.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Training and Development: Mentor and train junior engineers and operations staff fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including R&D quality control and supply chain to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering Petroleum Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in operations engineering within the chemical and petroleum industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of chemical and petroleum processing equipment and technologies. Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g. PE PMP) are a plus.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive projects to successful completion.
• ProblemSolving: Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
