Job Description

As an Operations Assistant/Coordinator you ll be at the heart of this impactful organization handling a diverse range of tasks that keep the business running smoothly. From managing payroll and HR functions to coordinating administrative duties you ll play a crucial role in supporting the company s growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience across multiple business areas ideal for someone who thrives in a varied fastpaced environment. You ll work directly with the business owner giving you invaluable insights into the operations of a socially responsible enterprise.


Responsibilities

Process fortnightly payroll using Xero including timesheet verification and superannuation lodgment

Manage employee records and track credential expirations
Send timely reminder emails for document renewals (e.g. driver s licenses)
Monitor and respond to inquiries across multiple email inboxes
Review and process shift reports to ensure quality service delivery
Assist with HR functions including onboarding and document management
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Prepare and organize invoices contracts and financial documents
Coordinate interdepartmental communication as needed
Assist in organizing meetings appointments and events
Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements

Proficiency in common software applications and quick learner of new systems

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Adaptability and comfort working in a dynamic evolving environment
Basic understanding of payroll processes (comprehensive training provided)
Familiarity with Xero accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Passion for contributing to a socially impactful organization Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics
