We are currently seeking applicants for a Carpenter/Laborer position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application if you are interested.

Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry tasks such as framing formwork and finishing according to project specifications.
• Assist with concrete work including pouring leveling and finishing concrete surfaces.
• Install insulated concrete foundations ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow blueprints drawings and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to meet project deadlines and goals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in carpentry or construction work with a preference for at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques tools and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to commute to job sites in Torbay NL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in carpentry or a related field is advantageous.
• Experience with concrete work and insulated concrete forms (ICFs).
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations and practices.
