Roofer

We are currently seeking applicants for a Roofer position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application if you are interested.

Duties:

• Inspect roofs for damage and leaks
• Repair or replace broken or missing shingles
• Install new roofing materials
• Apply waterproofing materials such as asphalt or tar
• Perform maintenance on existing roofs
• Work with a team to complete projects efficiently

Skills:

• Proficiency in blueprint reading for roof layouts
• Ability to use hand tools effectively
• Capability for heavy lifting when handling roofing materials
• Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing roofs
• Experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is beneficial
• Strong ability to build and repair roofs efficiently

• On call
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Norris Point NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
