Job Description
Technical Specialist IBM Guradian Experience
- 8 Years
- Portland OR; Vancouver WA; Boise ID
- Implement database activity monitoring sensitive data discovery data loss prevention and data at rest encryption controls.
- Identify applications transmitting sensitive data assess existing controls for protection and share remediation findings.
- Collaborate with Client Information Security SMEs and project team members.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks based on best practices.
- Provide subject matter expertise for scope refinement work breakdown structure and time estimation meetings.
- Provide data contributing to operational performance metrics.
- Interact with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve product issues and defects.
- Provide status updates to all levels of Cyber Security management including program and project management staff.
- 811 years of relevant business and systems subject matter expertise especially in data security data encryption data discovery and data loss prevention.
- Proven experience supporting data security and/or security projects as a Lead Engineer.
- Demonstrated knowledge in business process analysis workflow task analysis useracceptance testing and requirements analysis.
- Proven ability to engineer and design solutions for IBM Guardium DAM Guardium VA and Guardium GDE.
- Experience administering IBM Guardium IBM Guardium Data Encryption or Vormetric and DLP tools.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build consensus and agreement and resolve contentious issues and entrenched interests.
- Demonstrated successful use of Agile and/or Waterfall SDLC methodology.
- Understanding of industrystandard Business Analysis Best Practices.
- Excellent knowledge of Office tools Word Excel Project and Visio.
- Strong experience with security information and event management (SIEM).
- Ability to troubleshoot issues under stress while maintaining relationships.
- Experience with Requirements Management tools.
- Experience with the healthcare insurance industry especially top healthcare industry plans.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security Information Technology Computer Science Business or relevant work experience in data security engineering and operations.
