Our client a leading company in the insurance sector is looking for a dedicated Claims Handler to join their team in Frankfurt am Main.

Tasks

• Provide comprehensive support and advice to customers on claims reduction regulation and preparation.
• Work closely with the Claims Management team to identify recovery opportunities and handle recovery claims for assigned cases.
• Negotiate with customers on the extent of damage and/or coverage to achieve a quick just and fair resolution for all parties involved.
• Ensure your knowledge of insurance policies claims adjustment procedures regulatory practices and technical requirements is always current.
• Occasionally visit customers onsite to provide support in claims cases.

Requirements

• High level of selforganization and excellent time management.
• Keen attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in negotiation and consultancy.
• Successfully completed studies or a vocational training (e.g. Insurance and Finance Clerk) with initial experience in property insurance.
• Understanding of insurance claims processes.
• Proficiency in German and English an advantage
