Java Developer

Full Stack Java Developer (70% FE and 30% BE)

Seattle WA (onsite 3x a week)

1 year contract

Participate in design development and implementation of frontend engineering activities for Bank of America Authentication Hub. Work with Line of Business on requirement gathering user acceptance testing and post software release certification. Translate designs and style guides into functional user interfaces ensuring crossbrowser compatibility and performance. Work collaboratively with various backend systems in the Bank supplying data for various online banking functionalities. Work with the Performance Testing/ Browser testing/Monitoring Teams for performance tuning of the Bank of America Authentication Hub functionalities. Develop original and creative technical solutions meeting scalability security quality and performance standards. Estimate level of effort evaluate new options of similar technology offer suggestions to improve processes and provide comments on design aspects. Review product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy.

Required Skills:
Highly skilled at frontend engineering using HTML5 and CSS JavaScript and JS libraries and frameworks.

Java w/ Spring Boot and Microservices.
Experience with responsive web design concepts and methodologies
Knowledge of serverside scripting languages and frameworks.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations.

Desired Skills:
An ideal candidate will demonstrate interest in platforms technology trends frameworks design patterns standards and guidelines and will be specifically experienced/knowledgeable in core frontend technologies such as HTML CSS Ajax JavaScript
