Role: Additive Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Coventry Rhode Island (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract





Job Description:

EXPERIENCE:
Must have: Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Titan 3D printer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create efficient STL 3D print files Develop 3D printing processes that are manufacturing ready.
Create new products on our varied composites textile coating foam and additive manufacturing technologies.
Test newly created products Test raw materials Document processing conditions. test results and other criticaltoquality data.
Develop best practice SOPs WIs etc. for AM processes.
Generate optimized build files to produce high quality parts in minimum time with maximum consistency.
Monitor builds on a varying schedule.
Research new 3D printable materials and leverage those materials into new technical products.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of all 3D Printing processes (existing and emerging).
Working knowledge of Solidworks Rhino Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Eager to learn and explore advanced 3D composites textile processes and other AM processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective team player with strong criticalthinking skills.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in a relevant materials science discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
