As a Surveyor Engineer Trainee you will learn skills and gain experience in;
Planning testing and supervising installation and configuration of survey equipment.
Planning undertaking and maintaining all survey and positioning equipment.
Liaising with marine crew and third parties with regard to deck operations and equipmentinstallation and documentation and permissions.
Ensuring safe and efficient mobilisations and demobilisations of Survey and Positioningsystems.
Quality controlling results analysis and interpretation of data.
Accurate reporting of equipment failures.
Maintain offshoreequipment inventory and stock levels.
Ensuring that clear and accurate online survey logs are maintained.
Conducting observations of seawater parameters.
Providing technical support to Project Surveyors.
Liaising with third party provider of DGNSS signals Survey and Positioning systems and Survey software.
Performing risk assessments and tool box talks in the course of daytoday activities.
Conducting all activities following Company Procedures and Work Instructions.
Adhering to Company safety health and environmental procedures and policies.
Requirements
Essential:
Bachelor s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related subject (or an appropriate militaryqualification)
Understanding of survey engineering
Minimum 01 year relevant experience
Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision
Ability to work both independently and within international teams
Fluent in English
This is an offshore role working on board vessels in rotation (35/35) in international teamextensive travel is required.
