Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Monitor students progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Educate students families and school staff regarding strategies for promoting independence mobility and overall physical wellbeing.
Requirements
Physical Therapy license in the state of Illinois.
Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy principles techniques and interventions.
Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse physical disabilities in educational or pediatric settings.
