Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in electrical switchgear panel manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in ITI Diploma Engineering or related fields proficiency in AutoCAD SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications and significant experience in preparing detailed drawings for shop fabrication welding and busbar processes.

POSITION : MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER & MANAGER
NO OF POSITION : 2 NOS ENGINEERS & 1 NO MANAGER

EXPERIENCE : 3 12 YEAR S EXPERIENCE IN LT & HT PANELS
JOINING : IMMEDIATE
LOCATION : MARAIMALAI NAGAR CHENNAI
Key Responsibilities:
- Drawings Preparation: Create detailed shop fabrication welding and busbar drawings for production processes in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Product Development: Lead product development activities including designing for type testing and ensuring products meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Value Addition: Identify opportunities for value addition on existing drawings suggesting improvements to enhance functionality quality and manufacturability.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATIONS: ITI / DIPLOMA / ENGINEERING OR ANY DEGREE
SOFTWARE: AUTOCAD SOLID WORKS MS PACKAGE
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: ELECTRICAL SWITCHGEAR INDUSTRY (PANEL MANUFACTURING
- Education: ITI Diploma Engineering degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD SolidWorks and Microsoft Office suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the electrical switchgear industry specifically in panel manufacturing and design.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication welding and busbar assembly.
- Design Standards: Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (e.g. IEC ANSI).
- ProblemSolving Ability: Ability to troubleshoot design issues and propose effective solutions.
