Physical Therapist 2024-2025 School Setting Positions

• Evaluate students motor skills strength range of motion and functional abilities to develop personalized therapy plans.
  
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to meet the unique needs of each student facilitating physical health and mobility.
  
• Collaborate with school staff including special education personnel to integrate physical therapy with educational objectives.
  
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings providing expert recommendations to support student goals.
  
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support the physical development and health of students.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments treatment plans progress notes and other required reports.
  

Requirements

• Current Illinois license to practice Physical Therapy.
  
• Expertise in pediatric or schoolbased physical therapy is preferred.
  
• A minimum of a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  
• Efficient organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  
• Dedication to professional growth and development in pediatric physical therapy practices.
  
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
