What you will be doing:

• Development and documentation of survey standards and workflow including those related to remote sensing 3D scanning and UAV terrestrial photogrammetry.
• Provide oversight of staff drafting and other office tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills learning and adhering to company Quality Control procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of surveying techniques and have a background with the Subdivision Map Act.
• Effectively and efficiently use AutoCAD and Civil3D to produce survey maps from survey data with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills including scope budget and scheduling control
• Strong project delivery experience including managing the inhouse team and coordinating with project consultants
• Meet quality deliverable expectations and have experience with preparation of proposals / RFP’s / SOQ’s including scope and budget exhibits for interviews and participation in interviews and meeting with current and potential clients.
• Assist in the development and decision making as it relates to the use and work flow of both Trimble Business Center and Trimble Access

Experience you will need:

• Bachelors degree in Land Surveying or related field
• California professional registration
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Extensive experience with ALTA maps Records of Survey Legal Descriptions Boundary Reestablishments and topographic surveys.

• Preferred but not required to have experience using Spectra Survey Pro Field Collector software and Trimble Business Center software and related utilities.
• Valid CA driver’s license required
